Strategic Communications
Strategic Communication
In my early 20s, I was über determined to study in the United States by the age of 25. Without the financial means to do so, I knew securing a scholarship was essential. But with so many talented and ambitious young Romanians chasing the same dream, I asked myself: What is my Unique Selling Point?
At the time, I held degrees in Journalism and Chemical Engineering – an unusual combination, even by today’s standards. After researching trends in innovative master’s programs, I identified my niche: Communicating Environmental Issues.
Leveraging strengths and recognizing opportunities became my competitive advantage, and ultimately, it worked. I have been using this strategic approach ever since.
Successful communication is the product of a well-structured strategy and careful planning.
