With the increasing number of virtual meetings and discussions, managing our time efficiently has become more important than ever. I have tested several AI-powered applications designed to streamline our workflow, and here are my top recommendations:

1. Turboscribe – A transcription tool that converts audio and video recordings into text, including in Romanian. The free version offers limited but useful features. For example, after recording a Zoom meeting, you can upload the file (preferably in the audio format, as it is smaller in size) and receive an accurate transcript. From my experience, it is a valuable tool for revisiting main discussion points and extracting key insights.
2. tl;dv – An AI-powered tool that transcribes meetings and automatically generates key discussion points. It is compatible with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. While the free version has some limitations, it remains highly functional. However, I have found that its Romanian transcription quality is not as precise as that of Turboscribe (see point 1).
3. Circleback – One of the most widely used AI transcription tools, particularly in corporate environments. It generates automatic summaries of online discussions, functioning as a virtual AI assistant. Unlike the previous options, Circleback does not offer a free version, only a 7-day trial. I recently attended an online meeting where organizers used this tool, and within minutes, I received a well-structured summary via email.
4. Graficto – An intuitive and user-friendly platform, particularly for those new to designing infographics or visual presentations. The free version offers a good selection of templates, useful for reports, presentations, and project management. Simply select a template and add your content – no advanced design skills required.
